Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance or HSA/FSA?

We are a fee-for -service provider, which designates us as an out-of-network provider for most insurance companies. This allows us to focus on the quality of your experience in the clinic and not on the quantity of patients.

We provide documentation for patients with out-of-network benefits to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement, and we accept HSA/FSA.

Do I need a referral?

In New Hampshire and Vermont, you do not need a referral to see a physical therapist. Data show that patients who see physical therapists first for musculoskeletal symptoms have lower costs of care and shorter return-to-activity times.

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes! Currently, there are same-week appointments available.

How is your approach to physical therapy different?

Physical therapy has a branding problem and it’s time for a reframe.

How do I schedule my first appointment?

All of our scheduling is patient-sided. Use the big “schedule now” button at the top of the page.

What does a physical therapy session look like with Sonder?

Every single session that you have with your physical therapist is completely one-on-one.

You do not get passed off to an assistant, a tech, or anyone else during the session.

We combine the latest evidence-based manual treatment with meaningful movement to facilitate growth for our patients.

What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?

We ask for a 24-hour advance notice for schedule changes. If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours, you will be charged for the session. But we’re human and know that life happens, reach out to Tae@sonderrp.com or Caroline@sonderrp.com if something comes up!
