Caroline Merguerian, DPT

My name is Caroline, I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I believe that through movement we all have the power to unleash our full potential and achieve goals that we had never thought were possible.

I spent my undergraduate years at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY where I played as a point guard / shooting guard on the Women’s Basketball Team. In the off-season I interned with our Strength and Conditioning Department and assisted in leading training sessions with athletes of various teams including basketball, lacrosse, soccer, field hockey, ice hockey, tennis, equestrian, rowing, and golf. I graduated with a degree in Human Health and Physiological Sciences, and thereafter shipped out to Boston, MA to complete my Doctor Of Physical Therapy at Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions (MGH IHP). As an Upper Valley Native, I missed the mountains, hiking, and solitude and I returned to the area once I completed my DPT.

As a provider, I have training in dry needling, cupping, spinal mobilization and manipulation, soft tissue mobilization, PNF, along with other manual therapy techniques. I have experience in sports specific training and movement patterns to maximize an athlete's potential. I have treated pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations and in many different settings, including acute care, acute rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and the outpatient. My diverse experience has bolstered an understanding of recovery throughout a continuum of care, from acute onset of injury to the rehabilitation towards recovery.

In my spare time I like to go for walks with my mini goldendoodle Theo, train and compete in Crossfit and olympic weightlifting, go hiking, and find new food spots around NH and VT!

I look forward to meeting you. See you in the clinic!
